HOMEWORK FOR TUESDAY NIGHT
Assignment #1: Read Chapter 11 (no writing necessary)
Assignment #2: Get the answers to all remaining questions via the http://www.summercore33.com/33questions/index72213.html
webpage and STUDY all 33 questions.
Assignment #3: Start planning and thinking about your CARNIVAL PREP time tomorrow.
SUMMARY OF TUESDAY:
In the morning, we started with a roundtable discussion, then divided back into JV/Varsity Google Drive, then the 33 questions flipped. We made it through question 20. In the afternoon, we looked at Spreaker, SNAP, Voicethread, Thinglink, Tagxedo, Gaggle Blogs and Feedly, highlighting 2 at a time and then having partners choose 1 to try. We ended with the final few 33 questions and the CISCO Binary Game.
HOMEWORK FOR MONDAY NIGHT
ASSIGNMENT #1: Read chapter 3 or 6 or 16 or a portion of 4 (since 4 is the longest chapter). Just one chapter!
When done, send an email to [email protected] stating in 1 or 2 sentences what you found interesting
ASSIGNMENT #2: Today we went over questions 1-13 from the list of 33 questions. For tonight, please study the answers to questions 14-20 by using the video and text info located at the http://www.summercore33.com/33questions web page. This is called FLIPPED LEARNING since you are getting the instruction via video when not at school!
Summary of Day 1: Intros, Google Earth, 33 Questions, Google Drive Accounts, the new REVOLVE laptops, tinyurl.com, Google Drive, Teacher's First, JV vs VARSITY split on skills with Google Drive and PTI (Pardon The Interruption) with websites. Here is the shared document we created: docx PDF
