- Take any 4 four apps on your iPad and combine them into a folder
- Rename the folder Summercore
- Use the spotlight search for “presidential pets”
- Add the top website in the Google Search to the home screen and move the newly created bookmark to the Summercore folder.
Mise-En-Place Challenge #2
- Use the spotlight search to search Wikipedia for “The Beatles”
- Use the search within website trick to find the text “Beatlemania fad” and then highlight and copy the sentence that contains this phrase
- Go to your Notes app and paste the text into the note.
- Add quotation marks to the beginning and end of the sentence by using the virtual keys.
Mise-En-Place Challenge #3
- Use Safari to go to Google Images and search for “Stonehenge” and save an image from the search to your photo library.
- Do a second Google Image search from anything that you want and save an image from this search to your photo library.
- Take a picture with your camera of your group by using the front-facing camera
- Go to your Photo Library to create an album titled “Summercore” and put all three pictures into this album.
Mise-En-Place Challenge #4
- Open the Maps App and search for “4 Yawkey Way Boston, MA.”
- View the location in Street View.
- Take a snapshot of your view.
- Go back to your photo library and add this picture into the Summercore album from challenge #3.
Mise-En-Place Challenge #5
- Go back to the Maps App.
- Search for “The Eiffel Tower” and the location to your Bookmarks.
- Search for “The Louvre,” drop a pin by the Metro station near the Louvre and and this pin as a bookmark.
- Travel down and view the Louvre by going to Street View from the Metro station pin so that you can see the Louvre on your right.
Mise-En-Place Challenge #6
- Go to the New York Times and add a bookmark to your bookmarks bar.
- Read the top news article in Reader view.
- While in Reader view, increase the size of the text to make for easier reading.
- Search for the definition of a word within the article that you are reading.
