Question: We have heard regular whiteboard pens can be used with them, if you
have done this, what have been your results?
Answer: While this is true, you have to be very careful. The tech dept. at
Smarttech told me that we should never use low-odor dry erase markers on
the board because they will stain a board over time due to the fact that
there is less solvent in them and they are therefore harder to erase than
the higher-odor markers. We make it a policy in our school to NOT write
on the boards at all with marker.
