This is a fantastic class. It is long, but almost never dull / boring. It is an example of why so many people look up to the computer department at Nobles. It makes me proud to work at a school with the people who run the program.

I loved it! I feel "smart." I got so much out of this course and I can't wait to share it with others in my school! It was great!

I am thrilled to say that I am one happy camper. I dread going to conferences and suffering through the extra "bogus" fluff and stuff, and I'll admit, I was somewhat dreading this experience, too ... but all that was eliminated, and the info was relevant!! I can actually use things I learned!

I loved Summercore. Although I am not a novice, I learned SO much. I enjoyed working people with a variety of skills and interests and was amazed at the level of learning I was able to obtain. Each evening I left feeling overwhelmed, but with the realization that the Purple book would help me recall much of my learning when I return to my own computer.
I will recommend that our school send more teachers each year. I think it would help our faculty to feel more comfortable and facilitate the integration of technology throughout the curriculum.

The support from the student Interns was excellent. I loved Sam's delivery/candor when he presents -- very entertaining. Summercore is an excellent program. I will reccommend it to other faculty members at our school. It's an incredible feeling when you cross that finish line!

The support from the student interns is probably the strongest aspect of your program. It was so cool to have people younger than me teaching and facilitating! Most did not just take over, which is discouraging. Senam, Sam, and Marlon would ask, "What is it that you want to do?" Then they would facilitate our learning not taking over the mouse. They are awesome teachers-patient, humorous, kind, and knowledgable. I would like to model their style when working on any project! They not only taught me things on the computer, but how to facilitate better. Overall, Summercore is tremendous! I may come back next year and coincide with a family vacation to Maine.

I can't say enough about the student interns. You could really take them on the road and make some serious money. Alexandra scares me with her knowledge and ease with technology. I also can't say enough about Ellie. Sweet, kind, very helpful, great listener conveys a sense of she really wants to be at your side and help you learn. Truly a great teacher!
Overall, I have to be honest and say that I came in a bit apprehensive and nuddgy about the whole thing. After a couple of hours that quickly melted away and was replaced with a hunger to absorb as much as possible. This new outlook was born out of Steve's and Lynne's fantastic way of sharing their life's work with technology.

Scientists hold the theory that the universe began with a single event a big bang. Summercore is my BIG BANG.

What a wonderful seminar. I learned a great deal, and I really enjoyed it. My own children and sometimes my own students at school think I am pathetic at computers, but I have learned what I need to know to teach -- and I plan to continue to learn more. This is a good site!

I am very impressed. I was dreading working with computers for so long, and whined about it to my friends before I came. I cannot believe the amount of information that was covered and how interesting it was! I had so much fun and the time actually flew by.
