  • WARNING: The Surgeon General has warned that working on a carnival booth without a partner may be hazardous to your health. To avoid confusion and to make it easier on the student helpers who find it hard to tell adults what they can and can’t do, I need to make it clear that YOU CANNOT WORK BY YOURSELF on a carnival booth unless you have my permission. Remember that it is the process (and the hands-on time here) that is important, not the final product. Steve Bergen

  • Homework Assignment (Second Semester): Find one part, one portion, one excerpt of the Summercore Primer that catches your fancy to highlight for Thursday. Please be prepared for “plan B” if someone chooses the same one as you and goes first.

    PINK CARD QUESTIONS

    1. Currently, we do not offer any computer literacy classes. I feel that the subject area teachers should not have to use their valuable class time to teach WP, DB, SS, PP, etc. but should expect students to know. Don't we need to offer various levels of computer lit classes as required courses? Barb (St. Andrews Upper School) .. I agree with you , Barb .. I do not believe that sufficient skills can be built without separate computer classes .. here at Nobles, we have CP1, Cp2, Cp3, CP4, described in the green book .. these are required courses in grades 7 to 10 .. a good topic for our roundtable dicscussion at end of day Barb ...
