1. Zurich is the financial center of Switzerland.
2. Zurich is a very old and beautiful city.
3. It is located in Northern Switzerland, off the Northwestern tip of Lake Zurich.
4. It is Switzerland's largest city.
5. It has many suburbs which increase the population of the metropolitan area.
6. Greater Zurich is about the size of Boston.
7. The predominant language in Zurich is Swiss German, a dialect of German. But, other languages are also spoken in Zurich, including English.
8. It is Switzerland's leading commercial and industrial center.
9. Its leading industries are: tools, turbines, printing & publishing, textiles & clothing and chocolate.
10. Zurich is home to the largest university in Switzerland. It is called, "Zurich University."
