Paragraphs on the WHEEL!! The wheel is an object varying in size depending on the situation of itŐs usage. It is three dimensional and round with two flat sides. It generally has a hole in the middle. Its uses vary greatly but it is primarily used for rolling heavy objects. A wheel could be attached to the bottom of a heavy object such as a wagon and it could roll with ease. The wheel can be made of anything from wood to stone and now in the present day is made for cars with rubber. The wheel is an object which is recognized without thought by 100% of the people of the world; this shows how much of a widespread and important invention it is. The wheel was a strategic invention to the world. It was invented in the culture herth of ancient Sumer around 3500 BC by the Mesopotameans. The Mesopotameans were looking for an easier, more efficient way to transport heavy objects. Carrying a brick all the way across town was a rather laborious chore. If a wheel was put on the bottom of a small wagon type structure, the brick could be easily carried across town, and it conserved energy. The wheel has modernized and has countless uses such as, transportation and entertainment. Wheels are used on many childrenŐs toys. Wheels are most often seen on cars; and other inventions which would not be possible with out wheels. The invention of the wheel was an important step for human kind. The Wheel

Beneath the stable steel body
a swift carrier of the metal chamber
a wheel which bears the vehicle

ebony rubber like the black of night
metallic silver frame
treads over the impossible

yet remains unharmed
persists steady and strong
completes its mission undaunted

until it is worn to shreds
until is can not support any longer
it is replaced with a new perfectione
