Info about Fred Holway

I graduated from Suffolk University with my BSBA. My desirewas to get into sales, but I applied for a job at General foods in the Post division. I took a job in a Boston investment firm. I was thefirst college graduate hired in the back office. My job there was tolearn the trust accounting system, and from that learn the income taxes and probate acounting systems. I eventually got promoted toVice President of the company. One of my favorite hobbies wasSCUBA diving. Jacques Coustieau is one of my idles. I refer to him as Mont Kapitan. I taught myself most of what I knew about diving. Initially in 1966 I attended Norwich University for two and a half years. While there I was a member of the SCUBA club. During my Sophmore year I taught SCUBA to other cadets. One of my favorite diving spots was in Nahant, which is now the Northeastern Oceanagraphic Center. Prior to that It had been one of the nike missle bases used to protect Boston Harbor.

Dear Mr. Holway, It's going to be really nice being your penpal. I see that you have intrests in scubadiving. That's really cool! I have never gone scuba diving, but hope to do so in March on my trip to the island of Tobago. I am in the 7th grade at Nobles. I enjoy it here at Nobles and think it is a great school. Last year I went to The Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill. What was it like being the Vice President of a Boston investment firm? Mr. Bergen told me that you love sports and gamble sometimes. I am also a big sports fan and on Sunday January 25, 1998 I'll be right there watching the game on NBC. Who do you think will win theSuper Bowl? I really think Green Bay is probably going to win. But I'll be ruting for Denver the whole game.

	Sincerely,
		Jamie Ferguson

Dear Mr. Holway, What is an audit? When you skin dive do you uses a tank? I am glad that the Broncos won the SuperBowl. I have a question for you. Who do you think is better, Terrell Davis, Barry Sanders, or Jerome Bettis? I saw a little bit of a video of you but it was only for a second. I hope to see more of the video in the future.

Being Vice-President of an investment firm was great for the ego.My responsibilities included running the tax department, handling all audits with the IRS. P.S. I never lost one.As for Scuba diving -- I started off skin diving and progressed to scuba. I was self taught. Very interested to hear about your trip to Tobago. I better go Fred
