1) Michael Turner by Sara Farizan
My caricature is of Mr. Turner. The most satisfying part of drawing Mr. Turner was that his features can be exaggerated when he is singing. I could emphasize his mouth being round or his eyes being wide and it would look like Mr. Turner and not an exaggerated cartoon. This was the first time I did something like this. I found it very funny to draw someone I knew because I had someone to base my drawing on. The most frustrating part was drawing his earing because it is so close to his ear. I had so much fun drawing a teacher because the face is in your hands.

2) Maria Giacchino by Ashley Wood
I did my caricature on Ms. Giacchino. I listened to Mr. Freeman's tip on putting in some details that would describe the person, so I used the Latin word SUM (to be) and the Latin word VENDO (I sell) to hint that she is a Latin teacher. The hardest parts were the nose and mouth, and I felt really good when I finished them. It also took me a long time to do her hair.

3) Jacqui Drain by Laura Marholin
I have finished my picture of Mrs. Drain. The most difficult part was perfecting the nose, becasue I couldnt seem to get it right! The mouth was frustrating as well. It was also difficult to come up with ways to improve it to make it look more like Mrs drain. The most satisfying part was seeing the final product when I was finished.

4) Elisa Goldsmith by Peter Harris
I drew Ms. Goldsmith. I enjoyed doing this drawing assignment. I never realized the detail one can get in the Claris Works Painting Program. I now know how to draw a picture of a person and I have a better idea of what each tool can be useful for. I thought the hardest part was getting the mouth to be almost perfect. I still don't think it is. It was challenging although I also thought it was a fun exercise. I think it will be more challenging to draw our inventions but now I know how to get details.

5)Steve Toubman by Alissa Clarke
I drew a caricature of Mr. Toubman. I really had fun drawing it although it was hard and took a long time to perfect. I think the hardest part was making the face look symmetrical. I struggled on the ears because of that, but then I realized that I could copy my first ear and then rotate it so it would fit on the other side of his head and paste it. I then had just a face floating in mid-air so I took Mr. Freeman's advice and drew in the upper torso, this made it look a much better. Then, for a finishing touch, I put little math symbols in the background as a clue as to who the drawing was of. I think that in one way it is easier to draw using a pencil and paper: you have more control, but in the other way it is easier to draw on the computer because you can copy and paste, like I did.

6) Oman Frame by Micaila Donovan
This is my picture of Mr. Frame. The most difficult part, although fun drawing, was his grotque. His really isn't that full, but it was the best I could do! I had trouble with shaping his head and shaping his ears and nose. I think the most fun part of drawing Mr. Frame was doing his shaved head, because it wasn't completely shaved; it had some hair on it I had to draw. I had fun making the polka dots! I am very proud of my picture of Mr. Frame.

7) Julie Choi by Annette Lamb
The hardest part of drawing Ms. Choi was shaping the nose, mouth and eyes to line up correctly with the rest of each other and the rest of the face. It was easy, though, to draw the ears, hair (because it is very straight) and the shoulders. I hoped that by including the "Konichiwa," it would give people more of a clue on who she was because she is a new faculty member. This project could be frusterating at times but overall enjoyable.

8) Fred Hollister by Paul Rietzl
I drew Mr. Hollister. I enjoyed drawing Mr. Hollister because of the many oppurtunities for creativity. For example, notice that a traditional tie is replaced by a string tie, one of Mr. Hollister's favorites. It was also a chance to draw hands which somewhat resemble that of a humans. Drawing Mr. Hollister's hair and facial features also proved a challenge for me. Although they look simple and basic, the detail and work put into them, can only be found with magnification. It was also interesting to attempt to shade hair when only two colors were available. However, it was great fun drawing one of my teachers in a serious form, much different from the casual scribblings of a 1rst grader on microsoft paint.

9) Sarah Snyder by Courtney Smith
My caricature is of Mrs.Snyder. The most satisfying part of this project is having people guess the right person. It makes you feel that you did a good job because the picture is recognizable. The hardest part of this project is making the picture look the same on both sides (The eyes). But all in all it was fun!

10) Dan Matlack by Daniella Priebatsch
The hardest thing about making the caricature was actually capturing some of the facial featues of Mr. Matlack. It is also extremely hard to draw using the mouse, so that made it twice as hard. I enyoyed the challenge though, and I found it fun to draw a picture of my teacher.

11) Bill Kehlenbeck by David Kehlenbeck
I had lots of fun drawing a picture of my dad. It was really hard to do the shoulders, and even now I don't think they look quite right. This was a really fun project.

12) Steve Bergen by Ian Graham
After drawing my caricature of Mr. Bergen I thought that the hardest part was definitely drawing the face and hair. There is so much detail in the face and hair that makes it very hard to draw. The easiest part of the caricature was the torso. Though, I should have made the picture more focused in on the face. Now that I have done this picture I have a greater understanding and appreciation for the people who do the computer special effects in movies.

13) Marc Sheeran by Jon Landry
My caricature was of Mr. Sheeran. The most enjoyable part about making the caracature was picking out special features about the teacher. The part that I didn't like was that it took a while to make it look good, you had to make every dot in certain areas one by one.

14) Amy Lucenta by Offiong Bassey
I made a charicature of Ms. Lucenta who teaches middle school math. It wasn't very hard to do because we had facebooks to refer to. It was also easier because Mr. Freeman came and gave us tips on how to go about it.

15) Amy Bowles by Peter Roy
I had a great deal of trouble drawing my character of Ms. Bowles. The most difficult thing to draw for me was the hair because I couldnŐt get it to look like real hair. The mouth and eyes were the easiest because you can use the magnify tool to zoom in and fix up any small problems you have. This exercise helped me learn about Hyperstudio and taught me about drawing on the computer.

16) Tim Carey by Philip O'Conor
I drew Mr. Carey. I thought that the most satisfying thing about drawing Mr. Carey was the final picture. I found that draing the glasses took a lot of time.
