Switzerland has many different sports, much like the U.S.A. Some of the sports include soccer, skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, rugby and cricket (but cricket is not very popular)

The most popular sport in Switzerland is soccer, with a close second being skiing/snowboarding, due all the tourists that come to ski in the wonderful mountains called the Alps.

However, surprisingly, the Swiss have not enjoyed a lot of luck in recent Olympic and International winter games because of the overwhelming skiing power of the , Norwegian, German but most notable, the Austrian teams.
