Excuse me if I'm wrong though!!! I enjoy painting, writing and reading. They are fun. Your sister's bird looks really cute!!! I have a dog and 3 fish (one goldfish, the 2 others: betas)

Hi Amy,
I'm sorry that I took so long to answer you but I AM rather scatterbrained at times. I haven't painted in a long time, as my hand-eye coordination stinks due to my disease, but I still have a good eye. I have used water-color, acrylics, and oils but I like water colors the best.

In CP1 we are practicing typing-- it is fun!!!
In English, we just finished up reading To Kill A Mockingbird. Have you ever read it?? If you haven't then you should (it's really good!!)
In Geography, a partner and I are doing a Current Events project. We are also studying Mexico.
In Latin, we learn new vocab and grammar rules.
In French, we learn French grammar rules, and learn French vocab!!!
In Science, we are studying different types of precipitation.
And finally.... in math we are doing fractions!!!

My name is Amy Barad. I go to the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, MA. I like Nobles a lot!!! I play field hockey in the fall, I do drama in the winter, and softball in the spring. I am twelve years old. My favorite subject in school is english. I love art, reading, and writing. I have a brother who attends Trinity College.
Some information about Colleen Powers
Colleen gratuated from U Mass Amherst in 1972. There, she recieved a BFA in painting. She did not find a job easily as a painter but spoke to a mechanic and soon recieved a job with him at a Volks Wagon shop. Even thought Coleen did not know much about cars, she learned a lot in time. Soon she became a paid mechanic. Colleen remained fixing VWÕs for 10 years. Then, her life changed completely.......
Conclusion
I really got a lot out of writing to Colleen at the Boston Home. Although I did not always remember to write Colleen and sometimes she forgot to write to me, we had things in common. Through my CP1 class, I learned some about the desease. If you would like to learn more about MS, just click up above the link to the Boston Home. I definately recommend that if you ever have the chance like my classmates did, you should become penpals or at least help someone with MS, or any disease.
