Hello, Linda! My name is Katherine Lazaris and I am a Seventh grader here at Nobles. This spring I am playing on the Nobles Jr girls Softball team. We have won about half of our games. What sports are you interested in? Also this spring I am taking Computor class. As a project, we chose an invention and have to find out 10 facts about our invention. My invention is the air tank and I am wondering if you can help me by telling me some things that you know about the air tank. I'll tell you more about this project later.
    Sincerely
    Katherine

I'm here to talk about air tanks. An experiece that I had in Beverly--I was scuba diving to get some Lobsters. The tank that I used was 71.2 cubic feet of compressed air with a reserve that lasted about ten minutes depending on the activity and the depth of the dive. I ran out of air so I needed to make use of my reserve supply. So I thought I had ten minutes of extra air but I was searching for lobster which takes more air from the reserve. So at sixty feet I ran out of air so I had to ascend to the top--exhaling making sure not to beat my bubbles to the surface--this prevents what is known as the bends. Well I made it to the surface ok. Now I can scuba another day.
