In answer to your questions, no one in my family skates really well - other than for fun. (We do a lot of skiing, but not so much skating.) However, the family across the street from us has a houseful of great skaters. In fact, all of the boys are on hockey teams and have been since they were little. The funniest stories about skating occurred when my children were learning to skate. They had a program at their school which taught them to skate using orange traffic cones. They held onto the cones with one hand and pushed with the outside skate. This was great for building confidence, but they looked really funny and only learned to skate with the outside skate! So, when you took away the cone, they couldn't use the inside skate and toppled over. ]
I hope this answers your questions. Good luck with finals.

1) do you have anyone in their family who skates well? my aunt used to be an ice dancer, but she hasnt done that in a few years.
2) do you have any friends who skate? Yes, i have many friends who skate, and very well too. Dan wienstein is a speed skater, and he competes (maybe he'll get to the olympics, he is really good) Also, my friend jesse is a figure skater, he also competes, and is on his way to the olympics too.
3) do you know any funny personal anecdotes about skating? nope, sorry. Thanks, again! no problem, any time Lindsey
hey Julie, How are you? Sorry, i don't really know that much abou ice skates except that the boot is leather, the blade metal, and there are different types of skate for different types of skating. There are speed skates and figure skates.
I started using e-mail my freshman year here. The was when Noblesnet was made, and all freshmen were given accounts. I usually get at least twenty letters a day, but some is junk mail because i am on the student staff so people send letters to al of us about their problems with computers. I like email because its a quick easy way to tell someone something if you dont have time to call them, or look through the school for them. What I don't like about it, is that computers break a lot and don't always do everything you want. And what i dont like about email and chats (even though they are fun) is that it takes away human intereaction. People would much rather send leters or have a chat then sit somewhere and talk in person. Well, I'll talk to you later. Hope i helped. Lindsey
1. I started using e-mail about a year ago. I use it primarily for work (I'm a lawyer) and to communicate with friends, relatives, colleagues, etc.
2. Since I work on my own, I'm not one of those people who gets hundreds of e-mail messages every day, as I might if I worked in a large corporation or law firm. I probably get about five to ten messages a day - which is plenty for me.
3. As seems to be the case with most people, I have a "love-hate" relationship with my compter. Because my work is very document oriented, the computer makes my life and my work incredibly easier. However, I don't know enough about how the computer works to fix problems when they occur and I find that very frustrating, time consuming and costly to fix. And, with the Internet now available, the computer really lets me have a window on the world that I wouldn't otherwise have, sitting here in my office.
So, I hope that answered all of your questions. I am looking forward to hearing more about your invention.
Until next time.
