Religions of the Ancient World

This webquest entitled “Religions of the Ancient World Museum” is an interactive project in which students work in groups creating a multimedia presentation on two religions for a virtual museum. The approach is from a social history point-of-view ,clear direction are provided as are links to sources on the eight religions that are studied(unfortunately at least two of the links are not operative). Using analytical skills developed in Introduction Of Religion at SAS, students could use this project in our section of the course in which they teach each other Taoism, Confucianism, and Islam.

Hello Dolly

This webquest entitled “Hello Dolly” is an interactive project in which students are asked to make a ten minute presentation in which they respond to the Human Cloning Prohibition Act..Students are asked to assume various responsibilities and follow a process in order to reach consensus about the groups response. Links are provided to helpful resources particularly about cloning. What the creator of this web site means by theology is not clear, and religion teachers would need to make modifications in order to integrate the project in their class.
